Historic Magnolia Depot
Welcome

The Magnolia Historic Depot is located in the heart of downtown Magnolia, Texas next to the Community Building.  The Depot complex includes: a historic train depot, museum, and store; an entertainment pavilion available for local community events, complete with picnic tables and a lighted stage; Dr. Ware's historic House; and a red caboose.

About Us

The historic Magnolia Depot Complex is maintained and operated by the Magnolia Historical Society, a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, and is open to the public on weekends.  The Magnolia Historical Society (M.H.S.) continues to add to and improve upon the Depot, its grounds, and museum displays as funds are made available to do so.

The  M.H.S. holds events throughout the year to raise funds for the maintenance and improvements on the Depot Complex.  Any sponsorships and donations made to the M.H.S. are charitable donations. And all monies that are raised through sponsorships, donations, and events go to the M.H.S. for maintaining and improving the museum displays, the complex buildings and grounds, and for hosting events for the people of Magnolia.

Upcoming Event
Magnolia Hometown Christmas

The Magnolia Hometown Christmas was a huge success and everyone had fun playing in the snow and sliding on the snow hill.   We had amazing vendors and entertainment.   Fun was had by all.   The Historical Society is now busy working on the 19th Annual Depot Day Event, which will be held the third Saturday in April, which will be April 21, 2012.   Come out and enjoy one of our long term events.   We are now seeking vendors for this event.   Please check the depot day page for the vendor information.
